From the moment I was heard about Sian and Ed’s wedding I knew it would be a very special day. Living and working in Sydney Australia, they had decided to come back to the UK, to their home town of Clitheroe in Lancashire. They wanted to be amongst their hometown friends and their family for an intimate day in a stunning setting. On the doorstep of Clitheroe lies the Forest of Bowland, a recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Small winding roads crosscross the patchwork moorland landscape, inhabited by villages and farm-steads and open country. Fields skirted by drystone walls with views across to mountains and heathland. Think Jane Eyre country, bustling towns of terraced houses, idyllic churches and meandering livestock!

The plans for this day was music to my ears (and ultimately a feast for my eyes!). Nothing over the top, nothing exceptional, just an authentic experience with loved ones.
